Director of Children's Ministry

Extroverts wanted! Bear Creek Community Church is looking for a part-time with potential to become full-time Director of Children's Ministry who has a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a passionate desire for children to know Jesus from the Scriptures and accept Him as Savior and Lord. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to both multitask and delegate. He or she should be a self-starter who has a vision for Children's Ministry and should also be a team player who is able to work in concert with the existing pastoral staff. Previous experience in Children's Ministry or Early Childhood Education is strongly desired.

The Children's Director will be a resource person and role model for families of children from birth to grade six. Responsibilities include recruiting, equipping, training, and motivating Children's Ministry volunteers; developing and overseeing ministries that attract children and their families to BCCC including AWANA and community outreach events; and researching/obtaining/ creating curriculum for Children's Church, Sunday School and VBS.
